This project aims to challenge the 'normal' parameters of gardens. We had the privilege of working with a like-minded client, with a vision to create a dynamic native garden that works with the land and welcomes its guests (human or otherwise). The result is a project which treads lightly on the land and responds to our clients lifestyle and values. A rich and dynamic plant palette rubs shoulders with the architecture and features NZ natives, complimentary perennials and edibles. Morningcider (a local brewery) donated two apple trees to contribute to their ‘urban orchard’ initiative, creating a locally brewed cider from trees in the neighbourhood. This is a special project and one that is a delight to wander in and breathe.
